Best presentation so far. Engaging, thoughtful, funny, with some new perspectives and a "take-away" concept that I can use (cognitive surplus). I was looking forward to this one, and it more than met my expectations.
Clay rocked the house, as always. He knows how to give a talk, and to open eyes with telling facts. And it's nice to hear an optimist, even utopian, point of view. Great counterpart to the superpoke sheep guy.
I love this stuff. Great talk, best yet. I sobered up on Wednesday, stopped watching TV on Thursday, and plan on getting some work done on Friday.
When will my HDTV come with a webcam built in so I can discus the social implications of Desperate Housewives with my friends as we watch real time? Is it ok to watch TV as long as it's interactive? TV 2.0 Expo '08, my house, Friday night. **Free popcorn** :)
Fascinating talk, better even than Tim's. Love the 'looking for a mouse' analogy, and I'm happy that I have some better ammo for defending me playing WoW: At least I'm doing SOMETHING!
Engaging. Interesting. Also loved the story of the four-year-old looking for the mouse on the tv - really puts the Internet and the web into perspective of the younger generations.
By far the best presentation thus far. The challenge to provide interactive applications to take advantage of the intellectual "heat sink" is intriguing.
Clay was a fantastic speaker and definitely changed my perspective on the work I do on the internet. I can only imagine how popular his classes are at NYU.
I have a long list of books to purchase as a result of this event, and Clay's is at the top of my list. What a great speaker, great topic and so much fun to listen to! Bring him back!!
This guy was amazing. I loved the comparison of TV hours versus wikipedia hours. What a great way to think about allocating resources to something useful! I wish I could sit in on some of his classes. Thanks for a great perspective on web 2.0.
Great talk! I also appreciated Clay's participation in the speed Q&A at the Web2Open - a great speaker for an audience of 10 or 1,000.
Clay continues to live up to my high expectations, as both the most thoughtful and the most quotable of all technology pundits.
I was highly impressed. Whether it was the "best" talk or not is difficult to say, but it was the most fun and engaging.

What an engaging speaker. What an interesting keynote. Hilarious and informative! Haven't seen too many talks that touch on gin's effect on the industrial evolution, flagpole sitting and the culture of fads, and Gilligan's foibles and it's effect on people's cognitive output.
The "do something" philosophy powered by Web 2.0. Love it.
