Failure Happens: What Broke Since Last Year (and What We Learned from It)
Presented by Jesse Robbins (O'Reilly Radar), Artur Bergman (Wikia). An entertaining/informative/eye-opening review of the year's biggest failures, disasters, and painful lessons learned. Presented by Jesse Robbins and Artur Bergman of O'Reilly Radar.
This was a good session, always nice to hear that sometimes people are having a worse time of it that I am! Thanks for the tips on Ganglia and Puppet, I'll be looking in to these.
Got in here my mistake - did't realize it would be so operations focused. Managed to get to another session before too much time expired.
This did not match the session description. I second the previous comment in saying this was much too tactical a discussion.
I also didn't realize it was operations focused and ended up leaving early to catch another session.
Thanks for the reviews.
Due to Jesse being sick I had to rejig the slide deck at the last moment. Sorry about that :(

Overall spot on for the things that people need to pay attention to to make their services available and reliable Presentation could have been a little smother as Artur tends to jump from example to some data to a tool to something else. He could have been more coherent for people who didn't have a lot of ops background here (most of the audience it seems).
