Session was not in sync with the overall theme. too technical. not engaging enough.

It was a little slow through the platform introductions.

I don't think the content in the session was consistent with the description of session as listed above and in the program. The session should have been described as "How To use Open Social and the Leading Social Platforms Today" . I did find the information semi-useful nonetheless, but I left after the first break and did not return. I enjoyed Pat (Google) and Jia's talks the most.

i would have liked to cover what makes an app engaging and well received, not literally how to build an app that doesn't do anything (and isn't at all engaging or well received). that said, i did find it useful to download and go through the code example, as i've never done that before and now i know what to expect.

I felt that it could have been more engaging. The examples shown were quite surfaced, although it would have helped those who have not worked with apps building.

Although the content was not completely consistent, there were still merits. May have been a little too technical too.

Platform introductions were kinda useless. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say most people know where apps are served on these sites. "Too technical" is the exact opposite of what I was thinking. I wish the entire 3 hours had been spent developing a working application from scratch, even if it had just been a dumb "Hello World" app that says "Hello World" to your friends. Then they could've discussed specific issues encountered with working with Facebook and OpenSocial. How you deal with the differing implementations in the OpenSocial containers. The best way to update and maintain your code to work on the various sites. That's stuff I would've liked to learn about.

Disappointing. I left half way through and sat in the end of 10 Best Practices and got a lot more out of that one. Have to say that I was a bit frustrated because the Tue workshops added so much to the cost of this week. Think I'll skip the pre-day in the future.

I left after 20 minutes or so, as the actual presentation was very different than the description. Given that it was half of the entire day on Tuesday I was quite disappointed. Was too technical and not particularly informative.

I only lasted about 20 minutes in this one. The presenter talked really fast without saying anything intelligible. This is potentially such an interesting topic but nothing interesting happened while I was there. There are so many good choices in the time slot, if you can't hold my attention in the first 20 mins you can forget it. It's like sending a book to a publisher. If they don't get it in the first 50 pages you're dead.
