Becky Haycox

About: Speaking at Web 2.0: Fabulously Useful and Confusing

Her identity somewhere between a dilettante and an aesthete, Becky Haycox marches to her own homemade drum. A member of various creative communities, she uses more than her fair share of hyphens as a designer-writer-actor-crafter-monologist-maker.

She holds more than more than 20 year’s experience in graphic design. After too much time toiling in the Bay Area as a nonprofit geek, she resides in Southern California, where she splits her time between working at a university, performing improv and readings, crafting, and eating whilst driving.

Finally got around to framing a spectacular original print I bought from my friend Sharon in 2001. It's so beautiful. It's going to join the Amos Goldbaum on the wall above my desk. I am becoming a Jue collector -- this is my third piece!

And (I sound like a commercial but) Framesbymail.com can't be beat for the prices for your custom framing needs!

Original litho from (I'm guessing) the early 1960s of (I'm guessing) New York. I bought it at the Oakland Museum White Elephant sale in 2000. No photo (esp. this one) could do it justice -- it is really really REALLY good. I unrolled and framed it in the nick of time; it cracked a little after being curled up for too long. I'm a bad collector.

Look at his site to get a better idea of his genius -- or come over! I just love this print and I can't wait to put it on the wall above my desk! If you're in SF, he often is often selling his goods in front of the Ferry Building on weekends.
