Rosemarie McKeon
About: Rose has worked and taught Computer Graphics, Meteorology, and GIS. She recently finished a contract as the database coordinator for a large nonprofit think tank based in the Bay Area.
Her interests include the use of Geographic Information Systems by Native American communities.
Rose has been on the Indigenous Mapping Network (IMN) board for a few years and is now its volunteer web developer. Currently, it is 3 pg Web 1.0 site which requires upgradin' :)
IMN consists of about 200 Native American/First Nations/Aboriginal people, mainly living on reservations or ancestral lands.
She would like to connect with and listen to developers who have worked with culturally diverse communities... as well as UCSD alumni!
