About: I'm a graphic designer and founder of a graphic design firm (currently three designers, including me) that specializes in clean, timeless graphic and web design, from websites to logos to marketing materials. Although I do my own coding for "brochure" websites (the type most often requested in my local market), I've partnered with some fairly advanced developers in various parts of the country for other web projects, where I provide the design and they do the coding. I bring some extra value to such partnerships because I'm familiar enough with programming to quickly understand what can and can't be done (and why), and to communicate that to the client in a way that's clear and not upsetting---while developing design workarounds that still meet their objectives. I would love to meet up with some folks at this conference who are in need of a graphic designer with whom to partner on web projects.
