As for me, I am a true marketer at heart with over 20 years of professional experience. I transitioned into the Internet marketing field over 12 years ago, starting with the creation and marketing of the first few websites for the 80 million dollar publishing imprint of International Thomson Publishing. I then decided to jump into a new media start-up. Working at this innovative, yet small firm I developed a true appreciation for the development of new technologies, web applications and came into my own stride with my own take on how website design and internet marketing could and should impact the bottom line. I was then enticed to move on to Harte Hanks Worldwide to to lead their new media team to launch their first $1 million dollar budget e-commerce website. I moved on become Director of Marketing for streaming media, web services and corporate marketing for a publicly traded technology company to develop OEM and international distribution of their proprietary DRM and transactional security platform.

Which led me to the day I decided to start my own marketing firm, integrating all I knew with an outstanding team in web, application development, marketing, publicity and the creation of innovative new technologies to deliver new services, brand recognition, sales and increased market share for my clients.

My diverse professional experience enables me to develop and leverage methodologies that aren't just cool and up-to-date, but able to impact the bottom line for organizations of all sizes.

I built my award-winning marketing firm in 2001 and have since modified the corporate mission and vision to focus on consulting, training and professional speaking about SEO, Internet Marketing, Website planning, Search Engine Design, Usability and Conversion of visitors to customers.

Each year I look forward to judging entries from around the world for the annual Web Marketing Association Web Awards and Internet Advertising Competition.. In addition to consulting, I run workshops and provide custom corporate training and speak at conferences throughout the US and beyond (Bahamas this year takes me International).

I consider a day that I haven't learned something new, as a day lost.

Hoping to pick up a few new tips and deliver a few of my own as a speaker in SF on Friday, April 25. (please join us!)

I anticipate meeting with as many web 2.0 pros as possible this trip...very interested in building strategic partnerships...as we have some very exciting programs in the works and always looking to work with like minded people and organizations.

It is a VERY exciting time to be in the the technology and marketing field.

What a great profile! So enthusiastic---I love it! I would enjoy meeting you at the conference if you have time. I'm a graphic and web designer---according to one of your articles, the one who makes each site beautiful, though I usually have a hand in the actual content as well---and partner with a few local firms for the SEO aspect of each client's website. Upon reading one of your articles, I felt a bit concerned in that one of the SEO consultants I work with does indeed ask for key words. I'd curious to hear more of your thoughts on that subject and also see if we might possibly partner together in terms of both SEO and design.
