Gregg is the Chief Technology Officer for IBM Modular Systems Development. He is responsible for technology leadership of Modular systems which include IBM rack servers and low-end storage for Systems i, Systems p, and Systems x. Gregg is also an IBM Distinguished Engineer with over 23 Years experience with IBM. He has a Bachelors degree in Physics and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. He has extensive experience in server architecture, systems performance, systems design and customer requirements.

He is chair of the Technology Portfolio Review Board which does regular reviews of product technology strategy and direction.
