Anyone working/living in Toronto and interested in bringing some of the ideas, influences, motivations, experiences and excitement of web 2.0 to our great city, let me know.

Every time I come to the Bay area, I am frustrated with the state of tech in general in Toronto, and Canada as a whole. It's not that there aren't great ideas and great people - more to do with the funding issues (state of VC in Canada is abysmal) and very little organized collaboration and/or groups.

I don't have a proposal right now but want to see who's interested from a group who was at least motivated enough to come out to the web 2.0 expo.
