Web 2 Maps and Social Networks
Posted Wednesday, April 16, 10:17AMVolleyMapBall Anyone?
I'd like to propose a roundtable/barside discussion or 2.0 min passes/hits/spikes from power attendees, front and back row players, setters (those of you who should never receive the ball), or teams
about the use of fabulous open source and not so open map tools, such as:
Google maps, Google Earth, Yahoo Local, Planiglobe, Maporama, Web20map, Flickrmap, Geo IP Tool, Map24, Tagzania, Platial, Flagr, Plazes, Gvisit, Map builder, NASA Whirlwind, Placeopedia, Wayfaring, ESRI products, etc... extra points for web2 gps?
I posted this idea on the session submissions but then read the instructions to post ideas here.
Anyone interested in Web2 Map action?

Hi Rose Marie - there will be informal lunch BOF sign-ups each day on Level 2. Sign up by 11am and we'll designate that table with your topic.
Thank you for the notice.
Please pardon my naivety... Are the Web2Open BOF's different sign ups than the Web2 Expo?
Yes, not sure it makes sense but they are. Sign up for BOFs here
http://en.oreilly.com/webexsf2008/public/cfp/26
There are also spontaneous BoFs at lunch that you can sign up for right before, or when you get to the lunch area.
Thank you Jen!
The deadling to submit the BOF is midnight but requires an additional speaker committment before submitting.
Help! Anyone interested in joining a BOF on Thursday evening or Friday?
